Whitley's favorite things these days...

Whitley's biggest love in life right now is the slide! Running after her at the park is definitely a workout because she goes non-stop for hours. This child is no fan of the swing, which would actually allow me to stand in one spot for at least a short while! One good thing about having a couple of early risers is you're the only one at the park at 7:30 am

One of Whitley's big loves in life is Chick-fil-a. This is probably the only way to get her to eat chicken.
We spend a lot of time at Barnes & Nobles. Whitley gets to play with the train set and look at the latest books.

Whitley loves her cousin, Campbell. She is always asking me what he is doing and whether or not he is sleeping. Unfortunately, he lives almost 4 hours away from us

One of Whitley's favorite things to do is visit the library. We even drive down to the Fayetteville library for some variety. I think Whitley has mastered almost every Melissa & Doug puzzle. Hudson and Whitley are well occupied while Tara and I catch up.

No, this is not a pool. Whitley loves her water table in the back and has started climbing in to play and cool down!

Whitley is still sucking her thumb. I'm not quite sure when I'll try to break her of this habit. Fortunately, she has cut back to only suck her thumb at nap time.
Whitley is such a water baby. She can play in the water for hours, so Will ends up taking naps pool side. Thank goodness for battery powered stroller fans and an easy going baby boy!

Whitley loves the fountains at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade, so one day we packed up a lunch and ate by the fountains for a change of scenery.

Whitley should have the best oral health! She loves brushing her teeth. She brought 2 toothbrushes on one of our neighborhood strolls.

Whitley loves to be outside playing. Our hot, humid weather does not affect her!

Whitley loves her baby brother

Whitley did not know what to think about her baby brother at first, but she has definitely grown to love him. She always asks to pat and kiss him.

Will enjoys Chick-fil-a too

Whitley wanted to go to lunch at Chick-fil-a one day so I loaded the kids up, and packed Will a lunch. Will was very excited to be having some chicken of his own. He loves chicken and apples.

Will sitting like a big boy

This was Will sitting in the stroller for the first time without his infant seat. He looks a little unsure about the situation.

Will still loves the exersaucer!

The exercauser was probably my best baby purchase. Whiltey played in it for several months, and now Will is in it all the time. We even take it outside while Whitley plays. He looks like he is calling the Hogs and then gives me a serious pose.

Will loves the pool!

This is Will right before heading to the pool. Now that Will can sit up, I have started putting him in a swim raft while Whitley plays in the water. He absolutely loves it.

Will peacefully sleeping

Before I knew Will had acid reflux, I was having the hardest time laying him down for naps. One morning he was very fussy and wouldn't sleep, so I decided to give myself a break and take the kids to childcare at the gym. This was my exhausted baby when I returned. Love childcare!!

New pics!

These are some recent pics of our handsome little man. Notice I have no updated pics on Whitley. It is impossible to get her to stand still long enough to get a picture of her these days!

William Weldon Westmoreland

I apologize for completely neglecting my blog! I guess that's what happens when you are busy with two small children. Above are a few pictures of our precious Will, born on November 17, 2010. He weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces. He is truly a blessing. He is the happiest, most easy going baby, and Whitley absolutely loves him! More pictures (I promise) to follow!
